Murray Human Services (MHS) Inc. Training and Education (T&E) aims to contribute to the organisations Mission and Vision by providing access to quality training and education services to all who participate in the development of services and resources for people accessing the Community Services sector.
MHS T&E is committed to flexible learning strategies that ensures all training is individually tailored. Flexible Learning is about providing you with training in formats that meets your needs.
This program offers strong one on one classroom support from the trainer for prospective learners with no previous qualifications. If you have completed a Certificate II in any vocation you are strongly encouraged to enrol in the Certificate II in Community Services (CHC20108) or Certificate III in Disability (CHC30408).
Certificate IV in Disability (CHC40308). With an individually tailored program to suit your Work/Life/family Balance, assistance with Vocational Education Placement, together with high level of ‘One to one’ support with your trainer and assistance with Recognition of Prior Learning applications this qualification is designed for those new to the industry , the existing worker and/or volunteer within the sector.
Diploma of Disability (CHC50108), Diploma of Community Services (Case Management) (CHC52008) qualifications are designed to provide existing workers in the community services sector with the underpinning skills and knowledge required for the successful coordination of services for people with disabilities & for those working as Care/Case Managers. Must hold a Certificate IV qualification in any vocation. (Dual Diploma applications are welcomed).
MHS T&E welcome enquires from employers wishing to enrol recently employed persons in a Traineeship in any of the above qualifications across Northern and Central Victoria.
As an ACE provider delivering learning opportunities for adults in receipt of the Disability Support Pension, a large range of Pre-Accredited programs ranging from Job Search training, literacy, numeracy, language, basic computing skills, learners permit and self/financial management.
These classes will be on offer from February 1st 2011.
