ABOUT LINKS

Links is an exciting new style of service delivery by Murray Human Services which embraces the State Disability Plan 2002-2012.

Murray Human Services set the following aims

  • Individualized planning and support.
  • Flexible service delivery outside traditional service hrs.
  • Client directed plans.
  • One Person – One Plan

Links supports individuals to take full control of their life direction and what they want to do in their community / town. Links helps you get a group of people together called a Circle of Support.

Links and your Circle of support will then help you to have a go at things that you want to do.

They maybe things like:
  • Volunteering at a job.
  • Joining a new community group
  • Following your interests in art and crafts
  • Playing sport
  • Accessing sporting events
  • Or going to the gym
  • Meeting with friends for a coffee
  • Doing personal shopping or banking
