people with support needs. We will ensure that our services provide all clients with maximum opportunities and support to enable them to achieve a lifestyle equivalent to other community members and to be included on an equal basis in all activities of their choice. | Murray Human Services Inc.
is a non-profit charitable organization managed by a Board
of Management – all volunteers. |
| The Board is comprised of
members with varying skills and experiences including 2 family
members, a solicitor, financial adviser, business people,
social worker and general community members. |
Strategic planning for the
organisation and departments was done through an external
facilitator in 2005. This included wide consultation in all
of the areas of MHS’s operations.
The Strategic Plan is a living plan and is reviewed annually. |

All services provided by Murray Human
Services Inc. are guided by policies and procedures that form
part of an organisation wide quality management system. This
system is continually monitored and evaluated to ensure that
any areas for improvement are identified, acted upon and reviewed
in line with our ongoing commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Murray Human Services Inc. works within a consumer focused
culture, providing opportunities for consumers and stakeholders
to participate in service planning and evaluation, and welcoming
feedback along the way.
The involvement of staff, consumers and stakeholders is truly
valued in our pursuit of service excellence. Quality is an integral
to part of every area of service. |
The organisation has mechanisms
in place for any person wishing to make a comment or suggestion
for improvement, or to lodge a complaint. This system can
also be used to let us know what we’ve done well as
it is always good to know that too! If you wish to utilise

• Service recipients pay fees.
• Transport users pay a levy • For use of Murray
Human Services Inc’s resources by community services or
groups, fees are set as appropriate – e.g. hydrotherapy
pool, video conference, vehicles. |
No ongoing capital funding is received for
replacement or purchase of further vehicles, or building development,
though on occasions submissions for these items may be successful.
Murray Human Services Inc relies on submissions to philanthropic
trusts, service groups and sponsors to assist with these. |
